Loading Technology

The business unit Loading Technology is one of the leading companies in the Benelux for new construction, repair, modification/ upgrading and maintenance of (un)loading installations. Apart from representing, for several years now, the well-known loading arms of the French/ American company FMC, the world’s largest manufacturer in this field, the division of Loading Technology has a co-operation agreement with FMC for its own manufacture of truck/ railcar and marine loading arms (MLA’s, used for fluid cargo handling), making use of FMC’s components and technology. As for other new designed solutions, the business unit is specialised in the construction of Multi Product Loading Arm Facility for the loading and unloading of large partial, or inland, tankers and of loading/ unloading stations for complete block trains, with loading arms with sizes from small to the very large. Engineering, construction and assembly takes place either within our own group or in combination with renowned international partners. The company distinguishes itself by being able to arrange the maintenance of all types and makes of loading arms on contract basis with a 24-hour call-out service. To ensure that it has such a wide range of knowledge in house, the maintenance team consist of highlytrained professionals. The department Loading Technology is also increasingly involved in the total maintenance of all dockside equipment. As an extra service it will even, if desired, takes stock management out of its clients’ hands to enable them to concentrate fully on their core business.
